About Me
Claudia Garcia Ramos
Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico
About Claudia: Claudia was born and raised in Mexico City. She is the eighth daughter of a big Mexican family. A big family means lots of cooking for everyone in the family. Helping her “nanny” –and first teacher- to serve dinner for 12 or 14 on a regular weekday was normal before her older brothers and sisters started getting married, and leaving the family house. From there on, she started to attend different cooking courses : French at 14 years of age, with a Cordon Blue chef and stayed with her like a pupil, then oder courses Italian with a native cook, Japanese with a chef from Osaka and of course typical Regional Mexican Cooking, all around México . With all this, and her Mother and grandmother recipes, she started a carrier in the culinary arts. She was always interested to continue his education in this matter so she study in the CIA (Culinary Institute of America), to reinforce all her studies and getting in to action! Being a chef and a culinary teacher is what she likes more!!
